Not Many U.S. Muslims Blame al Qaeda (AP)
According to a study released May 22, 2007 by Pew Research Center:
- 7% of U.S. Muslims under 30 indicated favorable view to al Qaeda;
- 26%
of U.S. Muslims under 30 answered "Yes" to the pollsters question: "Can Suicide Bombing of Civilian Targets to Defend Islam be Justified?"
- 60% of the Muslim Americans "do not believe Arab men
carried out the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001."
